Incident at the Bell House
Our first original radio play. Chesapeake Mystery Theatre presents "Incident at the Bell House." This fictional story takes place in March 1915. Alexander Graham Bell, his wife, and their housekeeper arrive on a stormy night for a stay at the Bell House in Colonial Beach. The next day they discover jewelry is missing and decide to call in a noted local detective.
Problem on the Potomac
Our second original radio play. Chesapeake Mystery Theatre presents "Problem on the Potomac." Set in 1956 at the height of oyster production in Colonial Beach, an eighth grade student, son of a local private investigator, does research for his term paper on oystering and finds himself in the middle of the oyster wars on the Potomac. Sponsored by Dodson Development Group.
Quarantined
For our third original radio play, Chesapeake Mystery Theatre presents a fictional story based on current times. It is Christmas time in Colonial Beach, and Mr. and Mrs. Parks have had some financial problems due to the pandemic. There son Jesse in a busy doctor working in Washington D.C. They are wondering if Jesse will be home for Christmas, when some mysterious disappearances occur.
